Get Creative!

Blackpool Fringe Project is run by Blackpool Fringe Group CIC; a community interest arts organisation committed to building a network for creative artists and providing opportunities for the local community through creative projects, workshops and arts events, in particular a fringe festival. The aim of the project is to provide a recognised platform for people to engage in the arts, in all forms and to help take Blackpool’s arts scene to another level.

The project is open to anyone with a passion for being creative. Aimed at the community of Blackpool and surrounding areas, the project seeks talented groups and individuals of all ages and backgrounds who can make an artistic contribution to our venture (no matter how big or small) and work on a professional level.

We are looking for actors, dancers, musicians, writers, artists, photographers, comedians, graphic designers, graffiti artists, singers, DJ’s & MC’s, just about anyone who has an artistic flair and who enjoys meeting new people and working as part of a team.

The Fringe Project is open to non-professionals, as well as practising artists who are keen to offer their expertise and support to our community project.

If you are interested in becoming part of the Fringe Project and would like to be notified on future assignments, or if you would like to join our mailing list and find out about future events then please

Messages of Support...

Alison SteadmanI really wish the project well. A Northern Fringe Festival sounds like a brilliant idea. There is so much talent around. So many young actors, writers and film makers have the talent  but need fringe venues to support and encourage their work. All festivals started in a small way. Blackpool is known for it's fun fairs and sand... why not it's brilliant arts festival!! Alison Steadman

Michelle HolmesFrom a born and bred Northener I fully support the Blackpool Fringe Project. Blackpool can only ever bring a huge smile to your face whatever your age, with all that it offers Blackpool is the best place to host an Arts Festival. Good Luck Blackpool Fringe Project, Love Michelle Holmes XX

David RoyleBlackpool Fringe Project appears to be the answer to any performers prayer, be it student, or professional, but I would urge anybody who is interested to take full advantage of all the workshops and events available because such a project, and the dedication of this group of people, has never been offered before.
